Lawlor
F. Quinlan III graduated from the Great Books Program at the University of
Notre Dame With High Honors in 1991 and from the University of Virginia School
of Law in 1994.
In November 2003, Mr. Quinlan was named one of the Top Ten Up and Coming
Attorneys in Western New York by a panel of attorneys and court personnel
appointed by a legal newspaper serving Buffalo and Rochester. One month later,
after a six-week trial, Mr. Quinlan and his partner Terrence M. Connors
successfully obtained the largest verdict in Erie County history. The $58.6
million verdict was ranked as one of the top ten verdicts nationally by Lawyers
Weekly USA.
Mr. Quinlan has lectured on various issues for the Erie County Bar Association
and the New York State Judicial Institute. He has been active in the Peace
Bridge Expansion project since 1999, and in 2005 was appointed as one of the
eight representatives from the United States on the Peace Bridge Design Jury.
