 Susan
B. Fischer, R.N. is a graduate of Niagara University, where she received
her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She has 17 years of experience in
obstetrical and gynecological nursing, and 3 years in medical-surgical nursing.
Because of her interest in patient education, Ms. Fischer earned certification
by the American Society for Psychoprophylaxis in Obstetrics (A.S.P.O.) to teach
prepared childbirth classes, and was also a prenatal care instructor for 8 years.
She is a veteran of 4 years of active duty and 10 years of reserve duty in the
Army Nurse Corps.
