Vincent E. Doyle III is a magna cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. He was champion of the Law School’s Charles S. Desmond Moot Court Competition and also received the award for best brief. Mr. Doyle served as Note and Comment Editor of the Buffalo Law Review. Upon graduation, he was honored with a Faculty Award for outstanding contribution to the law school and with the Robert J. Connelly Award for excellence in the Trial Practice course. Mr. Doyle is a graduate of Canisius College with English and All-College Honors and is a member of the Canisius College DiGamma Honor Society. Mr. Doyle has served terms in both the House of Delegates and the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association. He is a member and past Chair of the State Bar’s Committee to Ensure Quality of Mandated Representation, and its Task Force to Review Terrorism Legislation. He previously served as Chair of the State Bar’s Criminal Justice Section and is a current member of its Committee on the Tort System. Mr. Doyle sits on the Advisory Committee on Criminal Law and Procedure to the Chief Administrative Judge of the State, and was appointed by the Chief Judge of the State to the Commission on the Jury, a blue ribbon panel charged with formulating ways to improve the jury system in New York. Mr. Doyle served on the Board of Directors of the Erie County Bar Association. He is President of the Erie County Aid to Indigent Prisoners Society. |
