Terrence M. Connors has been appointed by the Presiding Justice of the Fourth Department, Appellate Division to serve on the Independent Judicial Election Qualification Commission established by the Chief Judge of the State of New York Judith S. Kaye and the Chief Administrative Judge Jonathan Lippman.  Mr. Connors will serve in the Eighth Judicial District and he will evaluate local candidates for elective judicial offices to insure they possess the qualities necessary for effective judicial performance.
